FAQ's
Welcome to our FAQ. We are delighted to have you with us and to count you among our customers. We have tried to answer the most common questions.
Product information
Below are some common questions about our products.
How many turns per day does my watch need?
An automatic watch needs 600 turns per day on average.
The older your watch, the more turns per day it will need. When your watch is new, 500 turns per day is more than enough.
How does a watch winder work?
Your watch is placed on a rotating cup. The aim is to simulate the movement of your wrist. This movement keeps the oil in the rotor fluid and maintains the rotor’s regular motion.
Your watch will thus stay on time all year round and be ready to wear at any moment.
How do I know if my watch is the right size?
Watch winders fit all straps and dials. Where there is a risk that the winder may be too small, this is noted on the product page.
How long should my watch stay on its winder?
Your watch can rotate for 12 hours a day. Our watch winders are calibrated and programmed to respect rest periods for your timepieces.
Where do the products come from?
The winders in our catalogue come from Germany, China, Turkey, Italy and Switzerland. They are selected, tested and approved by us.

Some of the winders and watch boxes in our catalogue are in our workshop, others are not. This can explain the differences in lead times between orders.
